WITCH ===== Witches are hedge-mages, curse-workers and dangerous ritualists: less academy than Mage, less balance than Druid, and less temple than Cleric. They work through candles, charms, blood-price bargains, shadowed wards, bad luck, spirits and a kind of practical old malice. A Witch is not meant to match a Fighter in open weapon combat, but can spoil, bind, chill, hex, hide and bargain their way through trouble. Typical strengths: - Curses, bindings and misfortune - Magical attack and magical defence - Faith mixed with darker bargains and conjuring - Stealth, ritual knife-work and tricky self-buffs Good for players who want a darker ritual-magic class: more hedge, ash, shadow, omen, grave-cold and whispered price than formal scholarship. Current Witch abilities include candleward, athame, bloodprice, evileye, blackpin, sableveil, gravechill, witchlight, covenant and souljar.
